a little about us...

FRAYD is a local CT band that plays a variety of modern, alternative, metal, and retro music. The band's set lists are structured to include a mixture of both current hits and retro favorites. FRAYD began rehearsing in 2003 with the intention of playing music in local bars, pubs and clubs in the CT area. FRAYD was put together for the selfish enjoyment of the band members getting to play together. We've enjoyed playing together in the past and realized that we still do, so we'd like to share with the crowd the fun we have performing. Hopefully our take on some of the tunes we play relays the fact that we are out for the fun of the music and not blinded by rockstar dreams... well, some of us anyway... Currently, FRAYD consists of four members who handle all vocal and instrument duties. The members of the band have played together in various projects over the past fifteen years. This band's lineup represents the first time all four members have played in the same musical project. FRAYD represents the evil-Spock tendencies that all of us have to tear loose of the 9-to-5 grind and get out and have a great time doing something - ANYTHING - other than sitting in prairiedog cube hell.
